【ベランダ菜園】🍆不織布プランターでナスを育てる– Growing Aubergines in Fabric Pots

夏野菜の定番「ナス（aubergine）」を、ベランダで育ててみます。

通気性と排水性が良く、根が健康に育つ、不織布プランター（fabric pot）を使って挑戦！！

不織布プランターに培養土を8分目まで入れます。
Fill your fabric pot about four-fifths full with compost.
苗をポットから外し、根を軽くほぐして植え付けます。
Gently loosen the roots and place the seedling in the centre.
根元を押さえ、たっぷりと水を与えましょう。
Firm the soil gently around the base and water thoroughly.

💡 コツ / Tip: 植え付け直後は直射日光を避け、1週間ほど半日陰で慣らします。

After planting, keep the pot in partial shade for a week to let the roots settle.

日当たり重視：1日6時間以上の直射日光が理想。
Sunlight: Aubergines love full sun – aim for at least six hours a day.
水やり：乾いたら朝夕にたっぷり。水切れは禁物。
Watering: Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
追肥：花が咲き始めたら2週間おきに液体肥料を与えます。
Feeding: Apply liquid fertiliser every two weeks once flowering begins.
支柱：茎が伸びたら支柱で支えましょう。
Support: Use a stake to prevent stems from bending.

わき芽をこまめに取り、風通しを良くします。
Remove side shoots regularly to improve airflow.
実が大きくなったら、株を疲れさせないよう2〜3果ずつ収穫します。
Harvest two or three fruits at a time so the plant isn’t overworked.
皮がツヤツヤで柔らかいときが食べ頃！
Pick them when the skin is glossy and tender – that’s when they taste best.
